Chocolate Clementine Segments
This delicious kid-friendly snack requires just 10 minutes of your time and you’ll only need 3 simple ingredients.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- clementines
- 70% dark chocolate
- coconut oil
Method
- 1
Remove the skins from the clementines, along with any large strings of white pith. Then break up the clementines into segments.
- 2
Next add an inch or so of water to a saucepan over a low heat. Place a metal or glass mixing bowl in the mouth of the saucepan, making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Break up the chocolate into the bowl, then add the coconut oil and leave to melt, stirring occasionally.
- 3
Meanwhile, prepare a sheet of baking paper on the worktop.
- 4
Once the chocolate has melted, dip the clementine segments into it, coating them as much as you like. Then place the coated segments onto the prepared baking paper and leave to set at room temperature or chill in the fridge for a firmer texture.
- 5
These are best served immediately.
